In Cali on december between 24 and 31 is celebrated the festival of Cali, it´s a week when people go dancing, go drinking wiht friends or family.
In this week there are also horse parade along main streets of the city, bull race in the principal place of bull and came differents groups of music from this country to song sing in to the stadium, it´s really fun this combination of december and this festival for the people in all days and night in this week.
in this time many foreings come to Colombia and enjoy the festival. they can see our culture and differents activities. they can also visit important places like Jorge Isaac theater and the church "la ermita".

THE FLOWERS FESTIVAL.
This is de most important festival in our city Medellin, is celebrated sinvce almost 50 years ago,and is the recognition to the qork of the growers of flowers of Sta Elena , small village in our city.
This festival is celebrated in early days os August.
The principal activities in this festival are:
* The Flower`s Parade. Is a demostrative of the beatiful design with flowers fromopur city.
* The antique cars Parade.
this are a demostrative of Antique cars, the principal reason of this parade is help an charity work.
*The exhibit of orchid, birds and flowers: This exhibition you can see in the Botanic garden of the city.The most beautiful orchid, birds and flowers arethe view for a lot of tourist of different places.
every year more tourist of all the world arrive here in a beatiful garde, come in to the city of the eternal spring.

every year in my neighborhood is very popular the day of the candels in the month of december, the whole day people decorate the streets whit navidad arrangements and they also reward to the best street, in the nights they fasten the lights and candles.
the visitor should be sure that she will see a night full lights and happiness.

In January in my town there is a party called "las fiestas del retorno".
You can do many things in these days; like go to see the tournament of soccer if you like that sport,also there is a tournament of basketball and a tournament of voleyball.
But there aren´t only sports to see; you can go to dancing to the principal street or go to see a performance to the park.
If you want you can go to a bar and listen the music that you want and maybe drink a beer and see beautiful girls.
For the mornings you can buy souvenirs like handicrafts, tradicional food "donnas", or things that you need for the week.
O.K thah is all and come to the party of El Santuario.
In La Unión, every year is celebrated "las fiestas de la papa". This celebration is more or less of the twenty-eight of june to four of july.During this eight days begin to make events, but the important ones are the weekend.Many people come from different cities and enjoy of music's groups of all kind that come during the parties.Also there is one parade in tractor, where one girl of each path is participant to be the queen of the parties. You also can go to the discotheque of the town in where will know many people or you can go to a bar and listen to music with your friends and family.
This celebration is very important for the town, especially for the economy. ¡The next year we hope you!

THE COW ON THE TOWER
On the first or second December´s week, in Marinilla celebrate about four days a festival known as ¨THE COW ON THE TOWER¨, is a very nice festival, there go many people. Some events for doing and seeing are:
*The minstrel´s festival.
*A trip on chiva for all Marinilla, to see the ornament pertaining to chistmas.
*The reign.
*The boat trip.
*The bear´s festival.
*The ride horse trip.
*Orchestras... and many other events all day and all days.
If you want fun, you shouldn´t to lose this festival. You should go to trip on chiva becouse the people allways are singing, dancing, they are funiest and happy. Something you do it in the festival, I am sure you will like it a lot.
